Thank you Ton and James! That cleared some things up.

Re: Crashes During Joint Reaction Analyis
In case anyone is still interested, I think this is a memory issue in MatLab. When using the AnalyzeTool in a loop, I clear the model object and AnalyzeTool object from the workspace at the end of each loop iteration, and that seems to fix the issue.

Coordinate Constraint Influences Static Optimization Results
Hi Everyone, I'm trying to understand how the presence of a coordinate coupled constraint in a model factors into the static optimization analysis. I've been using the Lumbar 210 spine model, which uses a coordinate coupled constraint to specify the amount of rotation of each intervertebral joint as...

Re: Crashes During Joint Reaction Analyis
I am having the same problem as Erik. When I run Static Optimization (the AnalyzeTool) in a loop in MatLab, MatLab closes after the second iteration. At the end of each loop I added a line to clear the model from the workspace, and this allowed Matlab to get through about 6 iterations of the loop, b...

Re: Running Static Optimization in Matlab?
Thanks James, that did the trick. It seems to be working for me now.

Re: Running Static Optimization in Matlab?
Hi James, I'm also trying to run a Static Optimization Analysis via MatLab scripting. In particular, I'm not sure how to get the 'states' argument that needs to be passed through begin(), step(), and end(). For instance, if I was to run a static optimization analysis using a .mot file, I know how to...

Re: Stat. Opt. muscles show no activation
Hi Adila,
I'm having these same issues with the lumbar-238 model, ie: minimum muscle activation for 40 degrees of forward flexion. Did you ever find a solution?
Thanks,
Alex
