Re: Possibilities and Limitations of OpenSim

Hi Ayman, I am using this function you suggested, Prescribed Function, in order to coordinate a CoordinateSet that implements a FreeJoint mobilizer, which means that I have to prescribe the six DOF, right? My question is: the coordinate values are supposed to be in the body's local reference frame? ...

Visualize Forces

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to visualize, along with a motion file, the net resultant forces (given by ForceReporter)?

BSpline

Hi, I'm trying to use the function BSpline, but it continues to give me an error : error C2259: 'OpenSim::BSpline' : cannot instantiate abstract class due to following members: 'SimTK::Function *OpenSim::Function::createSimTKFunction(void) const' : is abstract C:\OpenSim2.2.1\sdk\include\OpenSim/Com...

Re: ForceReporter

Hi Adila,

I was talking about visualizing the forces when I press the 'play' button. Do you know if it is possible?

Hi,

Is it possible to visualize in OpenSim Gui the .mot file obtained by the ForceReporter analysis?

Re: Markers

Hi Ayman, I have created an .osim model which consists of a leg, a foot and also an Ankle Foot Orthosis acquired by a non-contact 3D scanner. I have created the meshes for these "parts" and implemented the Elastic Foundation Contact Model to study the contact forces distribution. The idea is to anal...

Markers

Hi,

I know that I can add markers to my model through the API. My question is: Can I guide the markers coordinates, in order to guide my model, and perform a forward dynamic analysis?

Re: Possibilities and Limitations of OpenSim

Dear Ayman,

Will this apply the prescribed function to all the bodies in my model, or is it possible to apply this prescribedfunction to a particular OpenSim::Body?

Coordinate::setPrescribedFunction(const OpenSim::Function& f

Hi,

I have been trying to implement this function

Coordinate::setPrescribedFunction(const OpenSim::Function& function)

in my model code, but I'm not quite sure on how to do it. Can I get some help me on this?
