Hi Julie,
double check your normalised EMGs, you may see that they are outside the 0 to 1 range. For example, you may get negative excitations due to some filtering issues.

Re: calculate the medial and lateral contact loads on the knee
Hi Lauri, to calculate knee contact forces we start from the knee model described in Saxby et al. (2016), which allow us to calculate moment arms to respect of the medial and lateral condyles. Then, CEINMS implements a balance contact model (Winby et al., 2009) to solve for medial and lateral contac...

Update for other possible readers.
Sariah and I are figuring out the issue, and we'll provide an update as soon as we have a valid solution.

Re: ik.mot
Hi Efeir, we haven't attached any inverse kinematics data in the dataset. This is because that is not necessary to run CEINMS, as we have provided the results from the Muscle Analysis tool. To run CEINMS you need: 1) Muscle tendon lengths and moment arms calculated via Muscle Analysis in OpenSim 2) ...

Re: Joint reaction analysis in OpenSim with results of CEINMS
Hi Ryo, it is not directly compatible, but can be done with a bit of work. The main issue is that joint moment predictions from CEINMS do not equal the result from OpenSim ID. Consequently, the body dynamics is not balanced, which is a requirement for the Reaction Analysis tool. On the other hand, s...

Hi Julian,
sorry for the late reply but I was on leave. Try to create the folder before running the simulation, it usually solves the issue.

Re: Hybrid mode error
Hi Graham, I apologise for the late response, but I was on leave. I'm not sure what the problem could be, but if you are willing to share your data I can give it a look and try to solve the issue. However, all your data and xml should be configured using relative paths, so I can run it straight away...

Hi Efeir,
what model and what data are you using?

Hi Sariah,
even if we have solved this via mail, I'm posting anyway for future users that may encounter a similar problem. I think you solved the problem by removing blank spaces in the path, right?
