Re: Issues with SimVascular compilation from source on Linux
Hello Emilie, We don't support Arch Linux. Our current build platforms are: Ubuntu 14+ (soon to be only 16+) CentOS 7(limited support) Windows 10 MacOS 10.11 (soon to be only 10.12+) For these platforms, we provide prebuilt binaries of the external open source packages (e.g. VTK, ITK, etc.). Compili...

Re: Entry point not found
Hello Tasos, I can't replicate this error. It really seems like SimVascular is picking up a conflicting shared library from another package and then not finding all the symbols needed in one of ours. This error appears to be caused inside of either MITK or CTK libraries, so any package that has thos...

Re: windows version error no header to open file
Hello Derrick, This is odd, I don't have this problem on my Windows 10 64-bit (Version 1803) desktop or laptop. What version of Windows are you running? What is your screen resolution? Have you installed a previous version (xxxx-xx-xx) of SimVascular that did display the top toolbar properly? Nathan...

Re: RLC Boundary Conditions
Hi Amirtaha,
There is no built in RLC boundary conditions, although you could check out the general closed loop BC code to see if you could code up your own circuit models. This would be complicated but may be possible.

Re: SimVascular 2019-01-27 Version
Hello Ati, Windows 7 isn't a supported platform for SimVascular any longer. We don't have any machines running the old OS. Most likely, the build and the libraries should run on Windows 7 even though they are built on Windows 10. However, the last time I tried a few years ago on a virtual machine it...

Re: Error while connecting to host
Dear Hamed, This appears to be an MPI /security related issue. Depending on your internet / firewall settings on Windows, you may or may not be able to run using MPI. You may have to give svSolver explicit permission to connect to ports on the local machine. Are you running on a desktop computer or ...

Re: SimVascular 2019-01-23 Version
Hello Amirtaha, SimVascular never uninstalls old versions, you need to do this from the usual Add / Remove Programs. SimVascular installs all files into a unique directory per release except the desktop icon and the start menu. If you want to keep an old version, you need to manually rename the desk...

Re: SimVascular 2019-01-23 Version
Dear Amirtha, This is the old SimVascular interface. Are you launching via the Desktop SimVascular icon? If so, try manually deleting the icon and the Start Menu for SimVascular, uninstall SimVascular and then reinstall. It should default to the MITK style interface. Nathan SimVascular Support Team

Re: Question on installation in redhat system
Hello Luning,
David from our team is attempting to build SimVascular from source on RedHat. He will update you on his progress, but this could take weeks to sort out if there are problems with the build. Hopefully it will be shorter than that.

Re: Question on installation in redhat system
Hi Luning,
Can you please confirm which version of RedHat you are running? You should (with work) be able to build on RedHat 7, but SimVascular is not supported on Redhat 6 (since Qt 5.6.3 isn't supported on that platform).
