Re: Static Optimization with Controls

Just as a follow up, I have also tried to input a states file with the desired muscle activity through the analysis tool. It seems like the only control signal that Static Optimization respects are the muscle's min and max control values set in the model, and not the frame by frame controls. If anyo...

CMC failed to open states file while running

Hello, I am trying to use CMC for a flexion/extension motion of the index finger. When I run the CMC tool, after a few iterations the tools stops and this error comes up: IO.OpenFile(const string&,const string&): failed to open Results/CMC/2F/0_states.sto I am able to open the file referenced (Resul...

Re: Using muscle weighting constants in Static Optimization

Hi Katherine, This tool that you have developed sounds very interesting! You mentioned that it is available in the source code. If I were to download the source code, would I be able to add it to OpenSim as a plugin or through another method? What I would really like is to be able to use this tool w...

Re: EMG-informed Computed Muscle Control

Thanks James for your reply,

I have sent an e-mail and am just waiting a reply.

I am curious, did you find an alternative to incorporate EMG for your work?

Any ideas that you have would be a great help.

Thanks

Re: CMC and Static Optimization fails with Disabled Muscle

Thank you for your replies,

I too am deleting the muscles to get the same effect, and this works fine. I just wanted to make sure I was not the only one with the issue.

Thanks

CMC and Static Optimization fails with Disabled Muscle

Hello, I am trying to analyze a model while removing the influence of a muscle. In the OpenSim GUI I have disabled a muscle and then tried to run an analysis. When I do this however, either the tool immediately fails or I get an error message (below). When I try to run CMC with a disabled muscle the...

Static Optimization with Controls

Hello, I am trying to complete a static optimization while also constraining certain muscles activities. I have tried to use the Analyze Tool, where I entered a control .xml nodes file for muscle activation of 4 out of 7 muscles and then run Static Optimization to estimate the activation of the othe...

EMG-informed Computed Muscle Control

Hello, I am trying to incorporate EMG into the CMC calculation. I have found the EMG-informed Computed Muscle Control project from: https://simtk.org/home/emg. When I looked in the source repository, I was unable to connect to the branch: Branches/JasonEmel485Project (as it is identified in the tuto...
