Re: vtkOutuputWindows

Hi Sandy,

I had a similar problem after upgrading from v3.1 to v3.3. I solved it as follows:
(1) Open "regedit"
(2) Edit environement variable OPENSIM_HOME from "C:\OpenSim 3.1" to "C:\OpenSim 3.3)

contribution of joint moments to centre of mass acceleration

Hi, I want to determine the contribution of lower-limb joint moments to centre of mass acceleration using the induced acceleration tool. I know how to determine the muscle contributions, but not the net joint effects. Would I have to change the model to have zero muscle force and depend entirely on ...

Static Optimization algorithm

Dear all, I have implemented static optimization in OpenSim v3.1 using the SO tool with the sum of muscle activations squared as the performance criterion and the "use muscle force-length-velocity relation" box checked. From the equations shown in the user guide, this configuration corresponds exact...

OpenSim vs Vicon joint kinematics and kinetics

Dear all, I have collected motion capture data using the Vicon Plug-in Gait model and have used that marker set to create simulations in OpenSim. In order to validate the results, or at least gain more confidence in the simulations, I have been comparing both the joint kinematic and kinetic outputs ...
