RE: Issues concerning plot and analyze tools
<t>The issue concerning the plot is reproducible with the examples models as well. I tried with the Model2392: if you plot, for example, the muscle-tendon lenghts vs generalized coordinates using the 2 versions, you will see different values coming out. In particular, using v. 2.0, if you plot a cur...

Issues concerning plot and analyze tools
<t>I have noticed some issues in the last 2 versions (1.9.1 and 2.0). <br/> (1) Plotting the built-in curves using my model, I got different outputs using these 2 versions. In particular I have verified that the muscle-tendon lenghts curves vs generalized coordinates should be correct in the 1.9.1 v...

RE: static optimization tool
The inputs for the Static Optimization tool are: the current model, the file containing the time history of the generalized coordinates (computed by IK) and the external loads (if any).
Anyway I still have troubles using this tool.
Cheers.

Pose matrix of bodies
<t>I have a query regarding the way to obtain the pose matrix of the rigid bodies. <br/> When defining the CustomJoint transforms, the transform of the child in the parent has to be defined as a function of the generalized coordinates. In the OSim documents it is specified how the joint frames are d...

Joints moments equilibrium
<t>Using my model, I computed the net joints moments and muscles forces running Inverse Dynamics and CMC. Calculating the internal moments for any dof, obtained from the sum of the products of the computed forces times moment arms of the muscles acting on the dofs during gait, I realize that they do...

RE: Joint reaction forces
Is it possible to know when the new release will be available?
Thanks,

Joint reaction forces
<t>This is an easy but fundamental question: is there a way in OpenSim to calculate the joint reaction forces? For example, for the hip joint (spherical), ID and RRA (Actuation_force.sto) results give the 3 net moments, and from CMC Actuation_force file you can see muscles forces values. What about ...

RE: Model takes off during RRA
<t>Hi,<br/> I had similar issues on RRA/CMC computing and I partially fixed the problem increasing the amount of residuals actuators in both RRA and CMC. The results show the RRA output kinematics not modified, but the CMC one doesn't track the recorded kinematics. My objective is to obtain muscles ...

RE: Reduced muscle model
Hi,
you have an overconstrained system because the number of degrees of freedom is greater than the number of muscles. So the minimum num of muscles must be the same of the dofs to actuate the model.
Cheers,
Giordano.

RE: static optimization tool
<t>Hi,<br/> simplifying my model (using the pelvis like ground and having the same number of muscles and dof), and using muscles parameters from gait2392, I'm able to run static optimization. Anyway I still receive messages about acceleration constraint violations (model unsuitable for optimization)...
