Re: Joint reaction force without muscle force

Hi Dimitar, Thank you for your quick response! I did 3 ways separately, so it' not free joint when I run the SO or JR. I used 6 DOF knee only for ID. Sorry for confusing. I also tried SO and JR with only coordinate actuator without any muscle force that described in the following post: https://simtk...

Joint reaction force without muscle force

Hi, I'm trying to get a joint reaction force on the knee (on tibial frame) without muscle force during a jump task. The following is what I did and related problem. Removing muscle from model file Joint reaction force was too small than my exception, it's around 80 N. Applying 0 N force with modifie...

Re: Joint reaction analysis in OpenSim with results of CEINMS

Thank you for your reply! I understand that I need to add reserve actuators, but static optimization tool needs kinematics and GRF data. I can't use joint moments predicted by CEINMS, I guess. I've driven SO and joint reaction using GUI. Is there a way to add joint moments directly to drive SO or jo...

Joint reaction analysis in OpenSim with results of CEINMS

Hello,

I'd like to calculate anterior component of knee joint reaction force with results from CEINMS. Is it compatible with Joint Reaction Analysis in OpenSim?

Thank you,

Ryo

Re: CMC runing error

HI, I also failed to run CMC for single leg landing task. Though I increased the isometric force to twice of gait2392 as previously reported, I think the model is still weak for landing. Then, I tried to increase maximum excitation and/or optimal force of reserves and residuals, but CMC tool always ...

Re: CMC at foot strikes

Hi, I got same problem when I drive CMC to simulate unilateral landing task and never solved yet. I doubled all of isometric force of gait2392 as previous study and RRA and SO worked correctly . CMC doesn't work around the foot strike, while the other part correctly simulated. I think I should modif...
