Filtering Data - Follow-Up

Hi Nick, Thank you for your response on my initial post on Nov 20. I just wanted to get more details related to the filtering. We are comparing results from OpenCap to AddBiomechanics generated joint kinematics and the filtering details are important. I would really appreciate it if you can answer a...

Filtering data

Hi there,

I have a question regarding filtering of the input data. Should the kinematic marker data (as *.c3d, *.trc files) be filtered (low-pass) before input into AddBiomechanics, or does filtering occur within the AddBiomechanics environment?

Regards,
Herman

Kinetics sampling/analysis frequency

Hi there, We collected data using Opencap at 240 Hz. The MarkerData file (*.trc) shows this 240 Hz sampling rate, and so does the OpenSimData Kinematics file (*.mot). However when we then run a kinetics analysis (to estimate GRF using code created similar to example_kinetics.py) our results (in Open...

Issues with 'Inspect Experimental Data'

Hi there, I am having issues with transforming axes in order for lab and model data to align. I have followed the 'Previewing Transformed Data' steps found here (Pages/OpenSim Documentation/Documentation Users Guide/Loading and Saving Models and Motion Data/Previewing Motion Capture (Mocap) Data). I...

GPU requirements

Hi there, I had three questions related to the OpenCap GPU requirements: * To run the pipeline locally it states the minimum requirements of a CUDA enabled GPU. Does this imply that it has to be a NVIDIA GPU I assume? * Is it possible to run this pipeline through Google Colab? * Do you need the GPU ...
