Re: Scaling with Matlab

David,
your help has been tremendously helpful, I have to thank you a lot. Just one more thing: once I've done the same thing to the MarkerPlacer, the results will be shown in the directory I've put inside the inputs of the "processModel " command?

Thanks

Scaling with Matlab

Hello everybody, I was trying to execute a scaling operation of a model using matlab. Since now I was able to create two objects by doing: - SC = ScaleTool('Setup_scale.xml'); - I = SC.getModelScaler(); - II = SC.getMarkerPlacer(); Now I have read that, in order to obtain the results needed, it is n...

Problems with Positions of Markers during Scaling

Hi everybody, I've got a question: let's pretend we have two person who have the same skeleton, which means that their bones are totally identical, but different muscolar structure (one obese while the other not). What happens to their markers , if we proceed with a scale tool? I mean, the makers, l...

Angles computation

Hi everybody,
I've got a question dealing with the computation of angles during the Inverse Kinematics tool: angles between the various bony segments are considered according to which convention? Euler or Cardan?

Thank you in advance for your answers :)

Re: Launch Point Kinematics Tool from Matlab

With your help and a lot of efforts I've finally managed to launch my analysis from Matlab, thanks a lot to everybody. Now I have another question: is it possible in some way to "command" OpenSim from the command window of Matlab? I mean open the software, load a model, load a motion and so on? Than...

Re: Launch Point Kinematics Tool from Matlab

Thanks everybody for your help but still I can't manage to solve my problem: the tips James gave me didn't work on my matlab, and still I cannot figure out how to read the Doxygen. I think I will have to continue implement my studies from OpenSim

Hi James,
thanks for your help, it's been useful at least for understand how things should be done; nevertheless I can't really understand how to get infos from the Doxygen  . I'll continue to try my best though.

Hi Ayman,
that's exactly my problem: I don't know neither what should I write to launch Point Kinematics from Matlab nor what it needs to run properly.

Thanks for your help
