Re: face ectraction error with 90 sep.angle

Hi Farah,

So you extract faces, delete caps, and extract faces again?

I've just tested this out with a simple model, and it worked fine, so it may be specific to your model.

If you share your project, I can take a look when I have the chance.

Thanks!

Re: Warning: Error creating model.

Hi Luke, I think I misread. I thought you were stating that you had created a model in SimVascular using these exact segmentations before, and now they weren't working. I now understand that you have created models before using different segmentations, but you are having trouble with these segmentat...

Re: Warning: Error creating model.

Hi Luke, When you say you've managed to do it successfully, do you know when, what version, and what model type you were using? How many segmentation groups are in your model? If more than just the aorta, can you try to create a model with just the aorta group and see if that works. If it doesn't wo...

Re: face ectraction error with 90 sep.angle

Hi Farah,

I'm a little confused. You say you delete each cap and then try to extract faces? To delete the caps, you will have faces to begin with then? If you could clarify what you are trying to do, that would be helpful.

Where did you get this model?

Thanks!

Re: Segmentation Frame

Hi Taehak,

Next to the reslice slider is a button called "Size". Click this button and you can change the change of the reslice plane to whatever you want.

Thanks!

Re: Errors related to libPng

Interesting. Could you send me or post some of this specific issues/crashes? That way I can see if I can reproduce them.

Thanks!

Re: Errors related to libPng

Ah, I think I may know the issue. Around the time of your old master, we updated to a new internal datamanager. From startup, this new datamanager should now be launched. However, if you have been building for a while, SimVascular (or MITK rather), stores information about lib locations, configurati...

Re: Errors related to libPng

Alex, I'm not sure why the ubuntu install that was working yesterday is now not working. That should be unrelated to this as this is specific to mac externals. For Mac, I had to make some pretty low level changes to MITK to get things to compile on 10.13. It is possible that this is the cause of you...

Re: Centerlines and Boundary Layer

Hi Saeid, Yes, good eye. I recently implemented this new feature into the SimVascular source code. The centerline extraction will still be the same, but the boundary layer will now scale with the size of the mesh at the wall. So, if you choose to do radius-based meshing, then the boundary layer will...
