Re: 404 error on externals
Nathan, This VTK is specifically for the solver, not for SimVascular. It is fine to be using VTK 7 here because we obviously don't need to build MITK on top of it for the solver. Alex, the url is created based on the version of VTK specified. For mac, only VTK 7 exists for the solver on mac right no...

Re: Errors related to libPng
You should no longer have to do this fix if building from source. I created pre-built binares for 10.13 that shouldn't have libz packaged in and simvascular should pick up the system libz. However, if you are using the latest binary, this fix is still necessary. Glad its working for you Alex. Let me...

Re: Change in dimensions of imported stl model
Hi Gurpreet,
SimVascular does not do any conversions on imported models. Check the export settings in SolidWorks. My guess is that even though you created a model in cm, you are exporting in mm.
Thanks!

Re: Trouble Importing STL File
Hi Ryan,
I don't mean to resize the window. I mean, click on the crosshair in the upper right hand part of the window and choose "Reset View".
You can also share your model with me, and I can try to import it.
Thanks!

Re: If SV could calculate the WSS?
Hi Runlei, Yes, SimVascular calculates WSS, and this can be exported into the converted results. I'm not sure what you are asking by what is the meaning? Can you elaborate? SimVascular does not do an automatic FFR calculation, but that should be easy to calculate on your own as you can get pressures...

Re: Trouble Importing STL File
Hi Ryan, After you import your model using the SimVascular instructions, find the crosshair symbol in the upper right hand corner of the 3D window, click on it, and then choose "Reset view". This should bring the model into view. Let me know if this doesn't work. Thanks! SimVascular Development Team

Re: Thickness unit
Hi Taehak,
Yes, thickness refers to wall thickness, and thus you will need to make sure your units are consistent with your model.
Thanks!

Re: Exporting Solid Model From SimVascular
Hi Hoon Choi, There are two model types available in SimVascular: PolyData and OpenCASCADE. A PolyData is a triangulated surface which is a discrete format consisting of points and connectivity as triangles. This format is typically saved as a .vtp or .stl. There is currently no easy way to convert ...
