I am installing the Opensim in Ubuntu system however while installing doxygen, it gets stopped at the message "Generating docs for compound SimTK::EllipticalPointContact..." I waited for nearly 3 hours but didn't move forward. What can I do? or is it normal for this process?
Thank you
Nilay

Add ligament properties
I am adding ligament in the model and it has muscle properties. I have the equation that describes viscoelastic property of ligament. I was wondering if there is easier way to incorporate this equation without touching the source code

Re: Plot change in tendon length
Thank you for your help. This helped me in understanding my mistake. In fact, now I realized my other techniques that I implemented for the generating .mot file.

Re: Plot change in tendon length
Thank you for your response and link you provided. This link you provided was extremely helpful for following the plot however even after following the rules, I am still having error. I have attached the error message to give you idea of the error message I have encountered. Currently I have install...

Re: Plot change in tendon length
Thank you for your response however there is limitation in using this feature. In the motion file, I have data that provides the ankle position during landing. This angle increases and decreases rather than strictly increasing. I think this is causing the error in the plot. I was wondering if this i...

Plot change in tendon length
I have a motion file representing angle of ankle. I wanted to plot tendon change vs ankle angle from motion file. The normal method of plotting using tool -> plot... gives me data from ankle angle -90 to 90 degrees. My motion file contains ankle angle 0.07 to 0.45 radians. How can I plot tendon leng...

Problem with muscle addition
I have added a new muscle (Thelen2003muscle format) and also included in reflex controller so that it can be activated at appropriate ankle movement. However when I run the simulation, the plot shows 0 value (no change) in muscle length or force with respect to ankle movement. I would like to know i...

bvh File implementation in Opensim
Hi,
I am new to Opensim and would like to know if I can utilize bvh file in Opensim model motion. As per my knowledge and research currently there are no tools developed for converting bvh file to mot file that I can implement directly.
Thank you for your help and advise

OpenSim Standards
I am using OpenSim software for completing senior design project and would like to know the standards (e.g. ISO, ASME, etc.) used for developing OpenSim. I would also like to know minimum standards that needs to be met for publishing OpenSim Models. I would be happy to further clarify my question if...
