Re: residual forces at the knee
If I am not wrong then residual forces and moments can be applied at the pelvis - in that case, can both residual forces and moments be applied at the knee? In case of RRA, actuator moment or torque is reported for the knee(Nm). Can we obtain a similar force at the knee in RRA?

residual forces at the knee
How can I obtain the residual forces at the knee (I can get the moments) - do I have to set up a coordinate in the osim file? The knee has two dependent coordinates - x and y. Can I retrieve the residual for these coorrdinates after RRA and CMC? Will have to run RRA and CMC again or is there a way t...

EMG data in CMC and forward dynamics
Hi,
If I have EMG data for some of the muscles from trials and would like to use them in CMC, how would I go about it? Ie I do not require these muscle activations data to be optimized.
Thanks

excitation vs activation
Hi OpenSim team,
How do you calculate the excitations for CMC? I know that activation is calculated using a 1st order ode. Is excitation calculated with fiber lenght changes at each time frame?
Thank-you

CMC Optimizer
<t>Hi OpenSim team,

In the July 2010 jamboree there was some discussions on optimizations. I am curious about some aspects of the CMC optimization? MY questions are:
Is it possible to find out the optimization technique used in CMC, which publication would that be?
Is it possib...
