Hi there,

Can you tell me how you solved this? I am also having this issue with some of my data.

execution error

Hi there, I am running a simple elbow model execution. I keep getting the following error no matter what configuration I use. Check configuration data... Reading subject file: /../../PilotZ/ceinms/calibration/uncalibrated/PilotZ_elbow/PilotZ_uncalibrated_elbow.xml . activeForceLength passiveForceLen...

moment arms in sensitivity analysis

Hello, We are currently working with a modified version of the Upper Limb Model. We are planning to conduct a sensitivity analysis looking at various model parameters including muscle moment arms. In order to systematically test this I think we would need to sort of interject the static optimization...

Re: static optimization crash

We reduced the pennation angle of all three lat muscles to 0.25. Also by running the optimization through matlab we seem to get better feedback when something does go wrong. We were finding that the optimization would stall or crash without producing error messages, but when run via matlab we get so...

Re: Static optimization crash

Gabriel,
Could you explain why changing the thorax joint to a weld will enable the static optimization? Just curious as I am learning more about the program. Thanks,

Re: static optimization crash

Thanks James,
We are using a modified version of the newer dynamic version, inverse dynamics seem to work well. The issue turns out to be a problem with the one of the lat muscles pennation angle. We had to reduce it quite a bit in order to get the static optimization to go.

static optimization crash

Hi, I'm working on a modified version of the Stanford upper extremity model looking at muscle work in a push up. I can get static optimization going with actuators and the results are pretty reasonable. But when I try to run it with the actuators + muscles it crashes. It shouldn't be an issue with s...

one force plate, two feet

I am working on modelling a push-up task with a full body model. We collected external load data with 3 force plates, with each hand on a separate force plate and both feet on the third. When using inverse dynamics what would be the best method of applying the forces to both feet? Will the they requ...
