Differing Results Male/Female
Hi, i am currently analysing the forces between different muscle groups during a Round house Kick (Kick Boxing Sport). This analysis however consists of male and female subjects doing exactly the same motion at an identical speed. The issue i am facing is that my results from females is significantl...

Force Plates
Hi,
When using Force Plate data within OpenSim, is it as simple as loading the data and applying it within your model?
Also is there any specific requirements of the Force Plate to be compatible with OpenSim?
Thanks
Darius

Updating Muscles in Model
Hi, the model I am currently using in OpenSim is a full body model, however some muscles refer to the "Schutte1993Muscle_Deprecated" and others "Thelen2003Muscle". I am wondering weather it is possible to update muscles within the model to the latest reference, and if so how do I go about doing this...

Active fibre force, passive fibre force and body masses?
Hi, We are using a full body model (ULB Project) for our analysis. We noticed that the upper body fibre forces (total) calculated from OpenSim contain NaN values. However neither the active fibre force nor the passive fibre force returned NaN’s. In our understanding “total fibre force=Active fibre f...

Units of measurement?
Hi, i am unsure on what Units of measurement the following would be in due to the values being quite large.
For example, in relation to muscle force, a value of 889.923364 is recorded for rect_fem_l
Can anyone help on what Units this measured in?
Thank you
Darius
