Verification and Validation of the OpenSim Software Package

Dear all, is there any chance to find the Benchmark test you performed for the Verification and Validation of the OpenSim Software Package? I saw the list in this web page: https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:8443/display/OpenSim/Verification+and+Validation+of+the+OpenSim+Software+Package but I ca...

Re: Pose matrix of bodies

Dear Rui, I had a similar problem some years ago: https://simtk.org/plugins/phpBB/viewtopicPhpbb.php?f=91&t=6619&p=17221&start=0&view= I think that this is correct: "I would say that for rotation2 we have a 'floating' axis in the sense of Grood & Suntay (1983)". The translations are along the fixed ...

synchronised eTibia data - fifth Grand Knee Challenge

Dear all,

do you know where I can find the synchronised eTibia data for Overground Gait Trials (fifth Grand Knee Challenge)? The folder ..\Synchronized Motion Data\Overground Gait Trials\eTibia Data is still empty..

Thanks,
Cristina

Scaling in the MedLat_Knee_Model

I have a problem with the "MedLat_Knee_Model_Lerner_et_al.osim” model. The scaling works only if we don't assign a scale factor to specific bodies (the sagittal_articulation_frame and the med_cond). Do you know why?

Contact Modeling

I'm starting to work on contact modeling in OpenSim and I'd like to study the bouncing sphere tutorial (https://simtk.org/projects/contact_osim_u) but I can't open it. Do you know if there is a problem with the file or version (I'm using the 3.3)?

Force Reporter tool

I am using the force reporter tool to find the forces at a constraint. Is there the possibility to select the reference frame in which the reactions are expressed?

Re: Rotation Axes

Thanks a lot Jim. Yes, for me is clear that the translations/rotations in the CustomJoint are defined as displacement/rotation of M wrt F. But not very clear the frame/s in which the rotation axes are defined. Let's define the rotation axes: (0 0 1), (0 1 0) and (1 0 0) respectively for pelvis_tilt,...
