Re: [Dog model] Inconsistent values for joint reaction analysis

Seems to be a bug with Output Precision, see:

viewtopicPhpbb.php?f=2032&t=17653

Tested with OpenSim 4.5_24_01_10

Best regards,
Heiko

Re: Inconsistent values for joint reaction analysis

Dear Maxence Lavaill,

This seems to be a bug. Set the Precision for Output to 8, then normal values should be calculated.

I would also activate "Solve for equilibrium for actuaytor states".

Best regards,
Heiko

Re: Motion

Dear Antonio Nieto,

the motion data and ground reaction forces are included in the model as mot files (KIN...mot & GRF...mot).

Re: I can't load the model

You can also try to replace the geometries to smaller geometry files.

Re: I can't load the model

Dear Martina Pedroli, Sorry for my late reply. Unfortunately, I don't get a message from SimTK when there is a new post. My guess is that you are using version 4 of OpenSim. There is a known bug there with the new GUI engine. https://simtk.org/plugins/phpBB/viewtopicPhpbb.php?f=91&t=13078&p=37504&st...

Sorry for the very late reply. Please change the memory sizes in the following file:: C:\OpenSim 4.3\etc\OpenSim.conf -> default_options="--branding opensim -J-Xms512m -J-Xmx4096m -J-Dsun.java2d.ddoffscreen=false -J-Dsun.java2d.gdiblit=false -J-Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true -J-Duser.language=en -J...

Re: Blank visualizer (empty json file)

Dear Ayman, The idea with Meshlab worked. I used the function "Filters/Remeshing.../Simplification: Clustering...". My experience is that OBJ files up to 6 MB work. But additionally an increase of the heap memory of Java is necessary for the whole model (see above). However, more error messages woul...

Re: Blank visualizer (empty json file)

The comparison of the problematic parts between opensim3 (PNG file) and opensim4 (PNG file) shows an incorrect import from OpenSim or ThreeJS. A problem part is attached, available for one month:

Re: Blank visualizer (empty json file)

I can already answer one question myself. In the file: C:\OpenSim 4.2-2021-01-09-fc62aad\etc\OpenSim.conf you can change the -Xms and Xmx entry (OpenSim should better set it automatically according to the memory). default_options="--branding opensim -J-Xms512m -J-Xmx4096m -J-Dsun.java2d.ddoffscreen=...
