Re: constraint issue
Hey AJ Yes I get the same thing using the linear function. I don't have any constraints where the scapula_tx is the dependent variable so I would think it would not change. They are the exact same and the thorax_tx generalized coordinate has not been specified in the motion file. It is a dependent v...

Re: constraint issue
Ayman I hope all is well. The solution you gave me for putting in my constraint between my scapula and thorax still gave me the same solution as when I implement simmspline. It moves the scapula. I would not expect this because the scapula_tx coordinate is the independent. I would like to have the t...

constraint issue
Hello all I am currently using a simmspline constraint to couple the x translation of my thorax to the x translation of my scapula. I am currently using the constraint listed below. <CoordinateCouplerConstraint name="Thorax_tx_constraint"> <isDisabled>false</isDisabled> <coupled_coordinates_function...

Headers in Matlab generated motion file not working
Hello all
I generated motion files in matlab and everything seems right visually in excel but when I load in the motionfiles in opensim they load but do not interpret my header file properly. Ayman can you take a look at this

Opensim crash running muscle analysis and scaling
Hello all I am currently trying to run a modified upper extremity model in opensim 3.0. Everytime I try to run the scale tool or the muscle analysis tools. Opensim will crash if I attempt to run scaling or muscle analysis. Has anyone experienced the error "Not enough values for double property defau...

Euler Interpretation
Does anyone know how to specify the euler rotation sequence for a Balljoint. It seems pretty straight forward with a customjoint but please verify. For example. If I had a 3-1-2 sequence and I wanted to represent that in opensim. I would define my spatial transfom axis for each rotation as such rota...

running muscle analysis for select coordinates
Hello all I am currently running the muscle analysis tool. Is there a way to declare what coordinates and corresponding analysis (i.e. moment arms) in the xml setup file for the muscle analysis tool. It seems to be running it for all my coordinates and its calculating results (tendon-force length) t...

Issue with IK
Hello all
I currently am running IK with a modified upper extremity model. The results are nonphysical. Can you trouble shoot why I am getting this solution. The trc data is transformed properly. Thanks for the help provided.
