Hi everyone,
Is there any detailed OpenSim model available for the hand? I need the model to assess loads applied to the scaphoid bone during multiple activities of daily living. I appreciate any information that helps.
With kind regards,
Hamed

Re: Ligament wrapping visualisation
Dear James,
Thanks for your clear reply. I implemented your advice in the model and now it is working well. About your suggestion on uploading images that show the problem, you are right and I will do it in future.

Hamed

Ligament wrapping visualisation
Hi everybody, I defined a wrapping object for knee ligaments. But, as far as I can see, ligament do not wrap arround it. Is this a visualisation problem or I should define some via points in addition to the attachment points for the ligament. this is how I defined the wrap object: <WrapEllipsoid nam...

Surface-to-surface Contact model with knee ligaments
Dear All, I am trying to include surface to surface contact at tibiofemoral joint and knee ligaments into the Rajagopal Opensim model as I thought it could improve joint reaction force predictions of the model. I have skin marker data, fluoroscopic_based kinematics, EMG and ground reaction forces. I...

Change ligament insertion point in a matlab loop
Dear all, I am trying to change insertion point of a ligament and see the effect on ligament load. As I have to do this for 100 runs, I am trying to do this as batch process in matlab. The problem is that, I do not want to create 100 models, save them with different names and then run IK for them. I...

Landmarks on generic bones (problem in aligning a CT bone on the generic bone)
Hello everybody, I want to develop a subject specific musculoskeletal model of a TKA subject based on lowerlimb2010 model. I have coordinates of some bony landmarks on femur (femural head center, medial epicondyle and lateral epicondyle) and some others on the tibia (medial and lateral malleolies) i...
