I get a more or less similar problem.
When I open the RajagpolalLaiUlrich model that comes by default with the software (V2.5), the upper body is not displayed.

Re: Adding an accelerometer to the femur
Is there anyone that has an example weld joint that mimics an accelerometer attached to a tibia or femur he or she can share? I have been trying several variations but the model keeps producing an error when I attempt to load it into OpenSim.

Re: Rotating model during running
Thanks Nicholas. Thus far the processing still shows the disconnection error, but I will update on this forum if the initial problem is solved by filtering the GRF if the data is processed within the next two days or so

Re: Rotating model during running
By the way, if anyone has suggestions on why the trials won't process then I would also love to hear this. I already tried making a new subject but this did not solve the problem.

Re: Rotating model during running
Dear Nicholas, Thank you for your response and sorry for my delayed response. I have been trying to re-process the running trial with filtered GRF in AddBiomechanics for the last three days but the server keeps messaging that the trial is Queued on SLURM cluster, and this is alternated with a messag...

Rotating model during running
Hello, I was experimenting with using AddBiomechanics and uploaded a running trial with a full-body markerset & GRF. Within the OpenSim Gui, the IK results look normal. When I process the results using AddBiomechanics, the model seems to 'flip' multiple times so that it runs backwards/sideways for a...

Re: 10x model strength not strong enough for SO or DO despite normal joint moments
Hi Aron, Thanks a lot for your reply, this is very helpful. I am using the Catelli model, which is a further improvement on the Lai model so I would expect the muscle properties and moment arms to be ok for a relatively slow running speed of 2.78 m/s. Therefore I have not looked at the muscle operat...

10x model strength not strong enough for SO or DO despite normal joint moments
Hi, I want to compute muscle forces from running experiments with both static optimization and dynamic optimization. While the joint moments are roughly in line with the literature (see below for a comparison), I get a message that the model is not strong enough for static optimization even when I i...

Re: Constraint violation Static Optimization running
John,
Thanks a lot for your reply, this makes a lot of sense. It would be good however if someone from the OpenSim team can confirm that this message is normal as I previously did not get this message when implementing SO for some strength training exercises.

Constraint violation Static Optimization running
When I perform static optimization for running (at only 2.78 m/s), I get a message about a constraint violation, without specification what constraint is violated. What does this message refer to? I have read some previous forum posts and the OpenSim website and found this is often related to large ...
