Hi
I have noticed that values several coordinate values can go beyond the specified bounds. This is when using the full body model. Please see attached image. How can I fix this please?
Thanks
George

Ground alignment between mocap and simulation
Hi,
I have loaded a FullbodyModel using mocap data, but it seems that there is a misalignment between the mocap ground height and the OpenSim ground height as seen in the attached image. Any reason why this is happening?
Thanks

Re: Adding a platform on full body model
Thanks Tom
It seems that I had to add a HuntCrossleyForce variable to make the contact forces visible - on the platform and the human model.
It seems that the issue if resolved, but I will provide an update.

Re: Adding a platform on full body model
Great thanks! You are right about using the "Simulation-Based Design to Prevent Ankle Injuries" since I would like to have contact forces with the platform. Will I have contact forces etc for the model as well as with the platform if I use the proposed solution with VisibleObject? Thanks in advance....

Adding a platform on full body model
Hi
I'm trying to add a couple of platforms on the FullBodyModel. It seems that the platforms are visually missing although they appear on the Navigator. I attach the .osim file if you like to have a look. Apologies for the zip file but there is a size restriction on uploads.
Thanks
George

This is also an option. Thanks for pointing it out.

Re: step_interval info in PointKinematics, BodyKinematics etc
Apologies but it doesn't seem to work. There is no visible correlation between the Integrator Settings values and the nRows found in the resulting .sto files. Is there anything missing please?

Re: step_interval info in PointKinematics, BodyKinematics etc
Hi Tom
Thanks for this. Is there a way to fixate the number of steps per second of the simulation please?
E.g. 1000steps/sec for A simulation, or 2000steps/sec for B simulation

step_interval info in PointKinematics, BodyKinematics etc
Hi
I'm trying to figure out what the step_interval (found in Analyses - PointKinematics, BodyKinematics etc.) is in terms of time. How is it defined?
E.g. When I run a 1 sec simulation with step_interval=1 I'll get 1859 steps/samples. How is this number declared please?
Thanks
George
