Adjust activations output of CEINMSexecute
Hello, I am running CEINMSexecute on a calibrated model and getting out optimized muscle activations. However the activation profile of the tricep long of upper limb was not as i expected. So i tried first to modify the input weight in excitation generator xml file for TRIlong excitation , yet not a...

Re: emg.mot file
Hi Claudio, In fact the problem is not related to blank spaces in path, at least not my case. It was even simpler but I didn't thought about at first: I had at first the installation directory of the setup/configuration... files of Test data or even my own data on the desktop. When i put all these f...

forve-velocity curve(model arm26)
Hello, I am working on the model of the arm 26 and I was in need to get the x and y points of the curves: passive and active force-length as well as force-velocity curve(fv) on the github I found under opensim-core the force-length curves (x and y points) however for the fv curve i found only the im...

Re: emg.mot file
Hello, maybe the problem is defining the program that should open emg.mot file from the command prompt. It should be MOtoNMS which should be configured. I didn't configured MOtoNMS because i got previously the emg data a priori(not from MOtoNMS) and i replaced them in an already existing .mot file I...

emg.mot file
Hello,
When i run ceinmsCalibrate on testData provided by ceinms or on my own data, the emg.mot file can't be opened(i got this message). Does anyone knows the cause behind ?
Thanks in advance
Sariah

Neural excitations of CMC Tool
Hi all, As it is known that the CMC tool output the neural excitations corresponding to certain kinematics, and those excitations can be the input to the forward dynamics tool. Also, in CMC tool excitations can be bounded to allow a comparision with EMG measurements. But EMG measurement, depending o...

Re: Adding a Coordinate Actuator to the muscles of the arm
Thanks alot for your time, I have something working now, but I want to be sure about thing i did: Since it's not necessary to create a force set, instead just adding the coordinate actuator(through model->addForce) to the model will be sufficient; I am questioning the following: I added the input co...

Re: Adding a Coordinate Actuator to the muscles of the arm
Hi again, I was able somehow to deal with the previous problem listed, however now that i am adding a coordinate actuator to the 6 muscles of the arm26 ( at elbow level), the forceset size is not updated to 7 , always im getting the size of 6, here below what i am doing briefly(in cpp and the contro...

Re: Adding a Coordinate Actuator to the muscles of the arm
In fact, now I found that even if I don't set the excitations signals from simulink input port, and instead I keep using the excitations defined in the controls.xml file , I got the same results ( motion output even when i set all the excitations to 0 in the xml file) I suspected then that the PD va...

Re: Adding a Coordinate Actuator to the muscles of the arm
Thank you Dimitar, Before I add the coordinate actuator to the vector of exciations(controls, 6x1 for arm26), I tried to input the controls values(excitations only) from simulink input signal and not from controls.xml file that was provided previously for an S function in simulink. However, setting ...
