Display messages in MATLAB
Does anyone know how to change whether or not MATLAB will display the messages associated with running Static Optimization, or the other tools? I've noticed that some versions of MATLAB will output everything (setup, constraint violations at each time step, output files, etc.), and other versions wi...

Kinematic Constraints in Motion Files for 4.0
I know this won't matter for most users, but are kinematic constraints are resolved differently from motion files in 4.0 as compared to 3.3? I have manually created a motion file for a model that includes kinematic constraints for lumbar vertebrae. To make it easier, I did not generate motion data f...

Problem using analyze tool on IK file
I am using the analyze tool to investigate body kinematics. The problem is that the linear acceleration values are clearly wrong. I have attached the velocity and acceleration graphs. Vel.PNG Acc.PNG As you can see, acceleration is near 50 m/s^2 while velocity is staying nearly level. I am simply op...

CoordinateCouplerConstraint Forces?
I am getting surprising results using the coordinatecouplerconstraint. When muscle A is attached to body A, it cannot apply any moment to coordinate 1. I then created body B that connects to body A through a custom joint. Body B is constrained to rotate about body A through a coordinatecoulerconstra...

Re: Register ExpressionBasedCoordinateForce
Is there any way to register it, or will this be fixed in the future?

Register ExpressionBasedCoordinateForce
Hello, I am able to add an ExpressionBasedCoordinateForce with MATLAB scripting, but when I open it in the GUI I get this message: Object::newInstanceOfType(): object type 'ExpressionBasedCoordinateForce' is not a registered Object! Object type ExpressionBasedCoordinateForce not recognized Was this ...

Only Suitable for Static Optimization
Hello,
I am very impressed with your model. I am wondering what needs to be done to make the model suitable for CMC. Have you tried running CMC and fails due to passive muscle forces?

Millard2012EquilibriumMuscle Active Force Length Curve
Can anyone tell me why I am unable to change the minimum value of the active force length curve in the Millard2012EquilibriumMuscle model? It seems set to zero. If I change it in the GUI, the value reverts back when I hit enter. If I change it in the xml, it is still zero when I check it in the GUI....

Muscle Attachment Point Moving According to two bodies
Is it possible to have a muscle attachment point be fixed to one body in the y direction, but fixed to another body in the x and z directions?
Alternatively, is it possible to have a muscle act on one body while moving according to another body?
Thanks

Re: Static Optimization Solves, but CMC does not
Thanks for the reply! I figured it out just a few minutes ago, and you were correct. Two of my muscles had incorrect parameters and had very large passive forces.
