How to create ideal muscles which only generate a*Fom force
Hi there I'm trying to create 'ideal' muscles which can ignore the force-length-velocity relationship, passive fiber force, tendon compliance, etc. and only generate active fiber force. The existing muscles such as Millard2012EquilibriumMuscle and Thelen2003Muscle seem to not be able to act as such ...

Problems of adding ExternalForce to a model
I added an external force containing a time-varying ground reaction force file to a model. But when I opened this model in OpenSim 3.3 GUI or loaded it in MATLAB, the software crashed. This my <ExternalForce> under <ForceSet>: <ExternalForce> <!--Name of the body the force is applied to.--> <applied...

Elastic foundation force
Hi there
I'm using the elastic foundation force classes to simulate the knee joint contact. However, the force reporter only outputted the reaction forces expressed in the ground frame. I'm just wondering how I could get the forces expressed in the body or local frame.
Thanks
