Next Version of Installer Packages
Dear SimVascular developers, You have added some capabilities in the source code repository in last previous months. However, you have not released any installation package since August 15, 2017. I am wondering if you could tell me when you are going to release the next version. Kindest Regards, Saeid

Re: Centerlines and Boundary Layer
Dear Mr. Updegrove, Thanks for your response. Based on the discussion we had before, I have recently seen that you have changed the Simvascular’s source “https://github.com/SimVascular/SimVascular”; I think that those changes are related to “Centerline” and “Boundary Layer Meshing” issues. I have tw...

Centerlines and Boundary Layer
Dear SimVascular Developers, I am going to simulate a cerebral aneurysm which includes a few branches with different diameters using SimVascular. While I was doing the mesh generation procedure, I faced two problems. At First, I wanted to use the radius based meshing. When I checked the created cent...

Re: Zero-Pressure Boundary Condition
Dear SimVascular Developers, I would like to use the zero pressure boundary condition (Dirichlet BC) at the outlet. Based on SimVascular documentation, I have seen that we cannot set it explicitly (there are only Resistance, RCR and Coronary boundary conditions). I have an idea that I should use a t...

Re: Womersley profile
Dear Dr. Wilson Thanks for your useful response. I also would like to know the exact mathematical formulation for velocity field and flow rate implemented in SimVascular for evaluation of the Womersley profile which is calculated using Fourier coefficients from the flow waveform. I would be so pleas...

Womersley profile
Dear SimVascular Developers, To set the inlet boundary condition, I intend to use the Womersley profile with a variable flow rate waveform. Considering this fact, I have two questions as follows: 1) As I know, for Womersley profile the inflow waveform can be considered based on variable pressure or ...

Next Version of Installation Package
Dear SimVascular developers,
You have added some capabilities in the source code repository in last previous months. However, you have not released any installation package since July 5, 2016. I am wondering if you could tell me when you are going to release the next version.
Kindest Regards,
Saeid

Re: Kinetic energy and Turbulence kinetic energy
Dear Mr. Updegrove, I thank you for your response. As far as I know, firstly, the Kinetic energy is a value that can be used both in laminar and turbulent regimes. Secondly, you mentioned that there is no turbulence modeling in Simvascular. I do not know whether you meant Large Eddy Simulation(LES) ...
