Re: RRA in OpenSim 2.4
Ajay, That was a good suggestion. I tried it in the command line and unfortunately it did not help. I still have the same problem. Currently I am trying to figure out what the biggest window for which OpenSim will print the results from RRA using the command line and it looks to be about 20 sec. I t...

Re: RRA in OpenSim 2.4
Ayman, I have tried all of these things. I have even specified the exact directory in each of these lines, and still the command line gives me the same error. Also a message pops up telling me there is a runtime error in rra and the program must close. I have changed the directory I am using as well...

Re: RRA in OpenSim 2.4
Ayman, When running RRA from the command line I have experienced the following issue. After the program runs the full duration it says Printing results to ResultsRRA then: "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for...

Re: RRA in OpenSim 2.4
Ayman,
Thank you for your quick response.
I tried to run RRA from the cmd line today and I have now gotten OpenSim to process RRA for 30 sec of the trial. Tomorrow I will try for the full 50 sec and let you know, but I think it is going to work.
Thank you again.

RRA in OpenSim 2.4
Hi, It's been a while since I last ran RRA in OpenSim. I know that two years ago my longest trials were maybe 15 sec. I am now trying to run 50 sec trials in RRA and I cannot get past 20-30 sec (max) of processing before the execution stops. If I use different timing windows, I can get other section...

RE: Inverse Dynamics Tool Crash
<t>Christine, <br/> <br/> The ID in 2.0 is not stable and crashes when you edit using the GUI. What I suggest to you is to report the bug, and then create all of your XML files using the GUI and save them (without running them), then close your model, reopen your model and then you can load ID setup...

RE: Why does the different initial time help
<t>Different initial time could help for a number of reasons.<br/> <br/> 1. Sometimes at your initial start time your kinematic data starts with all of your marker placements at zero and that is why you would have a person-ball.<br/> 2. You should only be running RRA and CMC while you have forceplat...

RE: RRA and CMC
<t>JJ, <br/> <br/> The 1st thing that I would try is making sure that you are only running RRA during the times when you have forces applied to your model. The best way to do this is to check your residual forces in ID, but if you didn't run ID you can look in your .mot file. <br/> Usually changing ...

RE: CMC for other activities
<t>Kang,<br/> <br/> As far as I am aware OpenSim does not automatically adjust your subjects mass. You can check this though by looking at the properties of your model. <br/> <br/> It looks like your residuals are huge. I would suggest:<br/> 1. Only run RRA and CMC where there are actually GRF appli...
