Re: add generated initial conditions from ROM simulation to 3D simulation
Hi, Dave, Thank you for your reply. I used the VTU file created from ROM simulation as the initial condition by selecting the basic parameters/IC file. However, I received an error: Simulation job '' failed with an exit code of non zero -3. As mentioned in the post https://simtk.org/plugins/phpBB/vi...

add generated initial conditions from ROM simulation to 3D simulation
Hello everyone, I have ran the ROM simulation and converted the results using the 'Project results to volume mesh' .And I got a '.vtu' file, I want to set the 3D simulation initial conditons with the '.vtu' file. However, I don't know how to use vtu file to generate the initial conditions of 3D simu...

Re: fail to run ROM demo project in the new SimVascular version
Hello Dave: I have tried to change the element size and the time step size, however, I get the same errors. What else Can I do to run the project successfully. I got different 'solver.in' files from different SimVascular version with the same settings, e.g."Number of segment, nodes and elements", I ...

fail to run ROM demo project in the new SimVascular version
Hello everyone: I am using 2022-07 and 2022-02 versions of SimVascular, when I run the ROMsimulation as the demoproject http://simvascular.github.io/docsROMSimulation.html, I get the same errors on Windows 10. 1678095546383.png While I used 2019-08 version of SimVascular, it runs the demo successful...

Re: questions about the coronary mesh
Hi,Guangyu
Thank you for your advice.
I will read the papers you list and carry the mesh independence experiments.
If I have questions, I hope that I could get your suggestions.
Thanks,
Yan

Re: questions about the coronary mesh
Hi Dave: Thank you for your reply. 1. The mesh must be fine enough to correctly resolve the flow features produced by your geometry and boundary conditions. How can I make sure that the mesh is fine enough to correctly resolve the flow features? too many elements will consume to much time to run the...

questions about the coronary mesh
Hello, I want to create a mesh for a coronary project, and I follow the guide from the website http://simvascular.github.io/clinicalCase3.html#model. The guide says "Once you have done this, run the mesher. Hopefully, you should get a mesh with roughly 300,000 to 1 million elements." But I have some ...

Re: Some questions about Wall Properties from ROMsimulations
Hi Dave: Thank you for your reply. 1. Which 3D simulation are you referring to? It is the 3D coronary simulation, as the coronary normal project, the wall properties is rigid. Is that because I can ignore the wall deformation when I run the 3D coronary simulation, while the 1D coronary simulation the ...

Some questions about Wall Properties from ROMsimulations
Hello: I want to simulate my coronary project using the ROMsimulations, but I'm confused by the Wall Properties from the ROMsimulations. 1.Why the Simulation in 3D using the rigidwall boundary condition? 2.What's the difference of the LINEAR an OLUFSEN model? 3.The K1 K2 K3 and PRESSURE of OLUFSEN i...
