Resting length of the ligament
Hi, everyone I am interested to create the ligament in the OpenSim and one of the parameters of the ligament is the Resting length of the ligament. What is the definition of the resting length of the ligament? Is that the zero-load length of ligament or the reference length of ligament ? Thanks for ...

Re: ligamentplugin
Hi, Ayman Thanks for the reply. so if I understand right, since I put the ligamentplugin file into the the path of the folder named "plugins", and following the form as below: <Ligament name="pmPCL_r"> <isDisabled> false </isDisabled> <GeometryPath name=""> <PathPointSet name=""> <objects> <PathPoin...

ligamentplugin
Hi, everyone I have a question about how to use the ligamentplugin in the OpenSim. I have already download the plugin from http://wiki.simtk.org/opensim/SamplePlugins and decompression of the file to the path of the folder named "plugins". Is it all the things I should do before I start to create my...

JointReaction Analysis Tool
<t>Hello, everyone<br/> I was confused with the function of JointReaction Analysis tool in OpenSim 2.2.<br/> when I use RRA setting and results files as input for JointReaction Tool, it seems to give me the results of Joint reaction force.<br/> when I use CMC setting and results files as input for J...

help for CMC
<t>I ran the CMC for my gait simulation. I follow all the instruction, but it always have error like following:<br/> rdCMC.computeControls: t = 1.23<br/> SimTK Exception thrown at InteriorPointOptimizer.cpp:249:<br/> Optimizer failed: Ipopt: Not enough degrees of freedom (status -10)<br/> OPTIMIZATIO...
About RRA
when I read the handbook of Opensim, chapter 17 RRA,
I understood RRA contained RRA1 and RRA2, Does it mean when we do the RRA, we should do it twice? one for RRA1 and one for RRA2? If that is right, why the example 2354 and 2393 only have RRA files, not RRA1 and RRA2?
Thank you

RE: Static optimization and CMC
<t>Thank you.I find something you suggest us before doing the RRA and CMC.<br/> 2. Check your ground reaction force, does it align up with the correct time frame (you can read the mot file into matlab).<br/> Do you have some materials that can tell me how to check GRF with matlab? Thank you very muc...

RE: Static optimization and CMC
<t>Hi,Habib<br/> First, thanks for your help.<br/> I should explain my situation clearly.I try to test a gait simulation like the example 2354. the only different is my model is go forward but 2354 seems walking in a place.<br/> In fact, I check the ID and compared with example 2354 file. the scale o...
