Adjusting IMU Placement
Hello, I have been using the IMU capabilities of OpenSim within MatLab and was hoping to make some adjustments to how my IMU's are being placed. I understand that within some of the set-up files it requires that an IMU be attached to a body and then places the IMU directly on the center of mass for ...

ScapulothoracicJoint Model IMU Placement Inconsistency
Hello OpenSim Team, I have performing IK with IMU data on the ScapuloThoracic model through OpenSim4.1 via MatLab and have had some good results. I recently have been trying out the new IMU GUI features in the 4.2 beta release and have encountered an issue during IMU placement. I have attached pictu...

Re: Geometry Issues while Scaling
I saved the scaled model to the same location as the original model. When I loaded the scaled model, the geometries appear correct, but the new marker locations were disoriented.

Geometry Issues while Scaling
Hey, I am having some issues with the geometries of a model when that model is scaled. I do not get any errors in the scripting/message window but the scale model does not generate properly. I have attached pictures below. The model is the MoBL_ARMS_module2_4_allmuscles model and I am using experimen...

OpenSense APDM Reader Issues
I have been trying to use both MatLab and the OpenSim command-line to be able to read in APDM IMU sensor data. The issue I am having is that MatLab will crash anytime I run the script provided from https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu/display/OpenSim/OpenSense+-+Kinematics+with+IMU+Data#OpenSense-K...

Re: Bilateral Upper Extremity Models
Hey Aaron, Thanks for the insight. I will surely look into that, mirroring current models is a good idea. I think the interactions between the "connecting" segments in a bilateral model would be one of the main problems I would run into. Looking at the bilateral gait models would be a good starting ...
