CMC only for interested muscles
Hi all. Does anyone know if you can calculate (with CMC) the muscle activations only certain muscles? And how can I do?

RE: Model to use
<t>Hi, does anyone know what are the differences between 3DGait2392 model and 3dGait2354 model muscles parameters? In the first model there are more muscles than the second and I think that is the reason for the differences. But what is the better model for a simulation of a real movement? Thank you...

RE: Model to use
<t>Sorry Ayman, I referred to 3DGait2392; in this model there are more muscles than in the other.<br/> Just a clarification: during the scale tool, in "mass", do I insert the total mass subject or only a partial mass (in the model there is not arms) calculated i.e. by Dempster?<br/> <br/> Thank you<...

Model to use
<t>Hi all<br/> I'm working on a project about a leg extension. I would ask you what is the best model to use for it (SepLegsNormal/Both Legs with muscles or 3DGait Model)? And also, what are the difference between two model (SepLegs and 3DGait), I see that the muscles parameters are very different (...

RE: CMC failed
<t>Thank you. <br/> Now, I'm analyzing a squat motion, I've got two grf applied to calcn_r and calcn_l from t=0. But CMC always fails although I change time range to process and the follow message displays:<br/> <br/> SimTK Exception thrown at InteriorPointOptimizer.cpp:249:<br/> Optimizer failed: I...

RE: CMC failed
Sorry, I solve this problem.
Another question: to compute CMC for a single gait cycle, does the grf must be applied to both ankle (calcn_r calcn_l)or not? And how does CMC tool work during the double swing phase (run cycle) when no grf are applied?
Thanks

CMC output trouble
Hi all,
I can't interpret CMC output.
In particular I would ask you the difference between muscle_excitation (in _controls) and muscle activation (in _states) and what does the values refered to?
I would like plotting muscle activation in the time.
