Re: Defining the "BallJoint" crashing the OpenSim
Hi Thomas,
And one more, is it possible to find the IK of that manipulator or in other way ,moving that manipulator finding reaction forces on the hand muscles (where, end-effector and hand are PointConstrained).
Thanking You,
Pavan G

Re: Defining the "BallJoint" crashing the OpenSim
Referring to the figure above,i'm trying to define Ball joint at "B" ,but when i load the model, software getting crash. And both the rigid bodies are simple bodies with mass, inertia . But i defined "CustomJoint" ,it's okay now.

Defining the "BallJoint" crashing the OpenSim
Hi all,
Actually, issue is when i define "BallJoint" between 2 bodies (link and end-effector of a manipulator) the opensim is getting crash. can anyone help me with solving this issue. And one more is ,can i find the IK of the manipulator which is imported?
Thanks and regards,
Pavan G

Re: How to add a torque actuator between the links of a manipulator model?
Hi Thomas,
Thanks again, but i meant was, to define maybe DC Motor and that allows simulation of powered robotic devices(Manipulator) working within musculoskeletal systems. i.e, the dynamics of the robotic actuator must be modeled accurately.
Thanks and regards,

How to add a torque actuator between the links of a manipulator model?
Hi all,
I have a manipulator model imported to opensim, I need to define torque actuator between 2 links at revolute joint of the manipulator. How to define that? is it possible in Notepad++ or any other platform? its maybe simple question ,but sorry fro that.
Thanks in advance,
Pavan G

Re: part defined Hinge joint but it rotating in circumference of circle path
Hi Thomas, Thanks a lot for your time. Sorry, forget to add the files. So here are the parts , NAssem - Nlink1-1.osim NAssem - Nlink2-1.osim , since it was not allowing me to add .stl files , I just renamed at the end by .osim. Please rename it by .stl once you download. Thanks and regards, Pavan G
