Re: Problems to run Analyze using commend line v2.4.0
Hi Ayman, Thank you for the reply. I think I have the right path. For instance, I have osim, all the setting files including setup_analyze.xml in the folder IAA_opensim, which should be the working directory. And after running CMC, the output saved in IAA_opensim/ResultsCMC/subject01_walk1_controls....

Problems to run Analyze using commend line v2.4.0
Hi Ayman, I found there is a problem to run Analyze using commend line in v2.4.0, but it works with GUI (All other steps works fine with commend). It always gave error message 'could not open file ResultsCMC/subject01_walk1_controls.xml. It may not exist or you don't have permission to read it. ' Bu...

Question regarding to RRA in v2.4
Hi all, Sorry for the replicated post, I got problems in submitting. I am confused about the RRA results. As I understood, I can repeat RRA procedure couples of times to reduce dmass, residual force and moment. I have tested with example gait2354, after the first RRA, I changed segments' mass as rec...

RE: Locking subtalar and mtp joints
Thanks Andrew,
Just wondering how did the residual look like in your simulations without locking any coordinates? I heard some rumors saying that since very small inertials of the bones in the foot makes very high residual and crashes in CMC.

Locking subtalar and mtp joints
<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> I read from some documents said we need lock subtalar and mtp joints in RRA and CMC, which means that we are not able to track subtalar and mtp kinematics. I want to do a perturbation analysis on subjects with abnomral gait pattern, especially in ankle/subtalar and mtp joints. I wo...

RE: Implementing Data
<t>Hi Orkun,<br/> <br/> I am also a Vicon user, but still with workstation. If nexus has similar function, it could export c3d as trc and grf.mot. In workstation, they are in the pipeline-export data as ASCII file (advance), where you can choose the option to save as .trc or ground-reaction force.mo...

Can RRA, CMC be done with lower body model?
<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> I have a question if RRA, CMC and perturbation analysis can be done only with lower body model? We had difficulties in collecting whole body data together with EMG devices. I knew e.g. in RRA, torso COM need to be ajusted, but might can ajusted on pelvis instead? If not, is there a...

Failed to track kinematics
<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> I got problmes to track kinematics in CMC at almost end of the my simulation (normal walking speed gait, from right limb single-stance to slightly before right foot heel strike). I can run CMC completely with some warnings about small range of force. The warning almost start from t...

RE: CMC failed
<t>Hi Yi,<br/> <br/> I didn't know if you already fixed the problem with walking down. I had the same problem before and fixed it by increase the tracking weight of pevlis_ty. And another thing also help me to solve the problem. Since we only had two force plates in the lab, so actually only part of...

Why no output files after scaling and IK?
Hi,
I got a streng problem with output files. I can scale and do IK without showing any errors and in GUI it looks ok. But it did not give any output files (I set output files in the set_ups), I have to save scaled model and IK.mot manually.
Thank you!
