Mesh objects don't show up, despite being in the model folder
I download the FESCycle model and copied the objects into the same folder. I also copied them into my geometry file. My preferences are set to locate the file. The model uploads successfully. However, when I scale the model I get an error: Error loading mesh file: pedal.obj. The file should exist in...

Do you give them to professors?

Re: Large knee flexion and large GRF motion (squat)
Where can I download LaiArnold2017 model update? I clicked your link (thank you for this!) but I dont see the download option - Go to the simtk project page: https://simtk.org/projects/model-high-flex - Click "Downloads" at the top - Click "Previous Releases" - Click "Download Package" under "Updat...

Re: RE: Model takes off during RRA
Dear Daniel, Please check the Wiki page for some pointers/ common pitfalls http://wiki.simtk.org/opensim/rraCmcPage In general, with proper setup and arbitrarily large residuals, RRA should be able to reproduce the motion exactly. Good Luck, -Ayman Thank you for the link, however it does not work. ...

Re: Large knee flexion and large GRF motion (squat)
Are you certain the 2392 model is appropriate for simulating this activity? According to the "Musculoskeletal Models" page in the Confluence documentation ( https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:8443/display/OpenSim/Musculoskeletal+Models ), the 2392 model "may be inaccurate during motions with hig...

Re: RRA OUTPUT
That link doesn't really help much. My RRA is "working" meaning it runs with no errors. But when you look at the motion, the foot is moving upward when it should stay on the ground. Is there something in the code that I need to specify "lock foot to ground" The code was written for gait but I change...

Re: add a torque actuator in Static Optimization
This is interesting... Maybe if I start with gait2392 model and remove the muscles and bodies that correspond the left leg (as you said) but leave the torso, it could make it stronger. However, would it solve my problem? I feel I would still have to add a torque actuator to the left hip to help move...

Re: add a torque actuator in Static Optimization
It does say the model is weak. However, I don't want to add muscles b/c that will make the model more complex. I also only have one force plate so I only want one leg. So I'm using a customized gait2392 model that only includes the right leg and pelvis. Im not sure how to add muscles.. I was hoping ...

Re: static optimization failure because of weak muscles
I am having the same problems. I increased my optimal force to 1000 and still get the errors. Within my model, there are no muscles that control lumbar flexion/extension and so all the other lower limb muscles are trying to control trunk motion, without much success. Instead of adding extra muscles ...

Re: add a torque actuator in Static Optimization
Maybe this is easier to answer: How do I increase the strength or range? Im getting the following error in SO: Try increasing the strength and/or range of the following force(s): semiten_r approaching upper bound of 1 bifemlh_r approaching upper bound of 1 add_long_r approaching upper bound of 1 add...
