Thank you, sure!
I remember once I shared a file with David Parker on a GitHub link that he sent.
I was wondering where I can share the model with you.

Re: Aortic valve-Meshing
Thanks, This is the fully open state of the valve. By fluid tight, you mean that the leaflet wall should be part of the aortic wall?
All wall faces of this imported model were combined into one wall in the modeling section but meshing did not work.

Re: Aortic valve-Meshing
Thanks Vijay, could you clarify more by get rid of the connection of the leaflets and the wall?
leaflets are connected to the aortic wall and there is a contact between them.
Thank you!

Aortic valve-Meshing
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to mesh such a geometry in SV (for a solid wall)?
Thank you!

geombc data file is not created
Hello, Data file geombc.dat is not created giving the error below: ERROR: could not open file (mesh-complete/walls_combined.vtp).ERROR: command could not be processed. The mesh complete folder contains individual vtp file called walls_combined_connected_region_1.vtp, walls_combined_connected_region_...

data file "geombc" is not created
Hello, When I create the data files for the simulations, all the files are created except geombc. Although no error is showed on the pop-up window, clicking show details indicates the error ":ERROR: could not open file (mesh-complete/walls_combined.vtp).ERROR: command could not be processed." I did ...

Re: WSS calculations directly from SimVascular
Hi Dave, Thanks for the answer and it would be great to extract wss from SV results. So there is a range of WSS values not just WSS on the surface. So which value of this range is reported if a vtp file is used? just the maximum on the surface? or the mean of the range within the element? Thank you,...

Re: WSS calculations directly from SimVascular
About the wss along a line, I still don't understand why more than one point on each end of the line should be reported. The image attached showed the velocity and wss along a segment of the line (all the pink dots are WSS values which increase dramatically along the line). I would expect to see one...

Re: WSS calculations directly from SimVascular
Hi Dave, I would like to check WSS results read in Paraview with a step- by step extracted one,as you explained, in a program (that could be what?). The reason is that I have seen regions of high WSS (compared to previously reported data for the coronary simulations) and try to make sure they are ac...

Re: WSS calculations directly from SimVascular
Hi Dave, Thanks for the info. I was wondering to know if it is possible and how I may use this code directly (probably in SV console) to extract WSS. Another question is when using Paraview, if a line is intersected with a radial cross-section, instead of having presumably two WSS values (two points...
