Re: Moments validation
Thank you for your input sir. I will consider the same conditions of time delay and other parameters as explained in the paper for muscle force validation. Also, I read the paper for other case studies also but couldn't find relevant answer for moment validation. There is one case study for moment v...

Moments validation
Hi all, I am doing analysis with methodology as Scale-IK-CMC. After analysis I validated the knee flexion angle output of opensim with vicon output using MATLAB and I am getting satisfactory results. After that I want to compare the moments output of opensim and vicon. For this I used analyze tool t...

Re: Opensim output error
Hello, I tried scaling with different iterations and now my scaled model matches with the exprerimental data without much errors (I can see my model markers and experimental markers overlapping). But even after this, there is 15-20 degrees of error in left knee flexion angle whereas the right knee f...

Re: Opensim output error
Thank you for your input sir. I checked the IK with experimental data and also the message window. The maximum marker error occurred during the phase where, knee angle is not matching with the experimental data, for LASI. This can be the issue for not getting desired output. But I don't know how to ...

Re: OpenSim vs Vicon joint kinematics and kinetics
Hello, I am performing gait analysis on gait2354 model with data collected from vicon nexus system. I am also having some problem with comparison of kinematic data. The problem is with knee joint and I am facing the problem in only one knee joint. The offset is almost 20-25 degrees. What can be the ...

Re: Opensim output error
Yes sir,
IK gives same knee flexion angles for both knee joints.
How to check if the same markers are tracked on each leg?

Re: A musculoskeletal model for movements that involve high hip and knee flexion Public Forum
Hi, I am thinking about using LaiArnold2017 model for studying high knee and hip flexion analysis. But I am not sure about which TASK, CONSTRAINTS AND ACTUATOR files should be used for CMC or RRA? I don't think using the supporting files for gait2354 and 2392 will be the correct method for that. Ple...

Re: Limitation in joint range of motion: Vertical jumping analysis
Dear sir,
Did you find solution of your problem?
I am also facing similar problem with ROM of knee joint as my model exceeds the ROM by almost 40 degrees. I don't know how to change pre-defined ROM. If you find solution for this please let us know.
I am using Opensim 4.0.

Opensim output error
Hi all,
I have executed opensim analysis with methodology as SCALE-IK-CMC. After CMC I am getting output for both knee joints as equal values whereas it should be different (noticed from vicon output).
What can be the reason for getting this error?

Re: CMC output validation
hi sir, About your suggestion, I exported required graph data in excel format and in that there are three columns. 1: Frame/ step 2: Time 3: value/quantity So, the graph we get from the plot window is with respect to time(second column) or frame/step(first column)? (Updating with one more doubt:) Al...
