Updated for 4.0 or access to source code
Hello, I noticed in a forum post about a year ago there was mention of the plug-in being updated for OpenSim 4.0, and I was wondering if this has been released yet? If not, is there a way to access the source code to try and use it in a new version of OpenSim? When I went to access the source code f...

Re: Using muscle weights in Static Optimization
Thank you, this looks like it will be helpful. I do have a question about installing the plug-in though. I created a 'plugins' folder in the OpenSim installation folder and then added the .dll and .lib files. When I then restarted OpenSim and clicked on the plugin in the 'User Plug-in's' folder, I r...

OpenSim 3.3 Visualizer Not Working
Hi, I just downloaded OpenSim 3.3 after already downloading and using OpenSim 4.0 to compare results with previous data. I can open the old versions of my models (made in OpenSim 3.0) and even the OpenSim tutorial models, but nothing is coming up on the visualizer. Is there something I'm doing wrong...

Updating older model file to 4.0 using utility
Hi, I am new to OpenSim and would like to update an old model for use in OpenSim 4.0. The error is that coordinates are labeled as rotational but found to be coupled, and I am told to run the updatePre40KinematicsFilesFor40MotionType() utility in the ScriptingShell Window (by the error and the upgra...

Re: Would like model output and inverse kinematics output in degrees
I see those values in the .osim file and they are the same for both models, but for some reason the Rajagopal displays and outputs in degrees, whereas the Arnold displays and outputs in radians. I would like it to be consistent so I can compare the results from my analysis. Is there a way to do that?

Would like model output and inverse kinematics output in degrees
Hello, I am currently working with two different models (Rajagopal and Arnold) and I noticed that in the coordinates window for the model, the Rajagopal model displays all joint angles in degrees while the Arnold model displays most joint angles in radians (images attached below). This also translat...

Thank you for the reply, and once that feature is functional I will check it out.

Placing greater trochanter markers on model
Hello, I am currently using the Rajagopal model for my analysis in OpenSim. It includes all the markers that were used in the experimental data collection except for three, the sacrum and left/right greater trochanter. I placed these markers on the generic model at estimated locations. However, thes...

Re: Detailed Error Reports for Scaling and IK
Hi,
Knowing the marker RMS for each marker in scaling would be very helpful. What tag ( <???> ) would I use in the scaling setup file and where would it be placed?
