Re: Inverse Dynamics Point Force nans
Just incase anyone has a similar problem, here was my solution: The problem was with my ground reaction force file (the .mot file from the walking trial, exported via Matlab C3DExport.m). At the end of this file, there were 'nan' values instead of numbers. This caused the inverse dynamics output fil...

Inverse Dynamics Point Force nans
Hi all, Relatively new OpenSim user here. I am trying to work out why my resulting inverse dynamics .sto file has 'nan's in the pelvic force and moments columns. I only have force data for the right foot ie data from one force plate. Is this sufficient to compute inverse dynamics? Or do you need for...

Re: Scaling 3DGaitModel2354 without upper body markers
I have corrected this and both files are now synced (used Matlab c3dexport this time). Force arrow is now displaying at correct time point.
Thank you for your help!

Re: Scaling 3DGaitModel2354 without upper body markers
Hi James, Thank you for your response. You were right- my first attempt at marker placement was completely wrong. I had used a sacral wand (coda motion equipment) to collect data but when scaling I had placed virtual markers on the PSIS and ASIS which did not correspond to the sacral wand. I have si...

Scaling 3DGaitModel2354 without upper body markers
Hi all, I was just wondering if it is possible to scale the generic 3DGaitModel2354 without upper body markers? I have tried scaling it but it becomes bent over- is this because of my limited lower body markers? If yes, do I need to pick another model or is there a way of scaling this one so that it...

Re: Scaling tool fails at "placing markers on model"
Hi all, I am an OpenSim novice so please excuse my ignorance! I have OpenSim 4.0 and I am trying to scale the generic 2354 model using my static .trc file. However, my markers are 'Not found' except for the ones with the exact same name as the markers on the generic model. Do the markers from my exp...

Matlab Scripting: Utilities/Resources Folder not downloaded
Hi there, I just deleted and re-downloaded OpenSim 4.0 having unsuccessfully tried to configure it with Matlab R2018b. However, now the only folders downloaded within the master OpenSim 4.0 folder are bin, make, Geometry and sdk. There is no longer a utilities/resources folder containing 'code' and ...
