Re: Running svSolver in Cluster
David, I was able to get the mpi version with the command "mpicc -v", this is the one currently on the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and i'm getting this output: mpicc for MPICH version 3.2.1 Using built-in specs. COLLECT_GCC=gcc COLLECT_LTO_WRAPPER=/usr/libexec/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/4.8.5/lto-wrapper Target: x...

Re: Running svSolver in Cluster
David, I download the Linux version from the download page then proceeded to unpack it from the .deb Never did any builds. The weird thing is that i was able to run the solver in a VM with centOS and installing mpi with the command yum install mpich I'm only having issues with the cluster. I'm execu...

Running svSolver in Cluster
Hello, in the past few weeks i tried running a simulation directly with svSolver in a CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core) cluster having SLURM for work queues. Everytime i try to run a job i get this output /home/*****/svsolver/2019-02-07/bin/svsolver: symbol lookup error: /home/******/svsolver/201...

Continuing simulator with diffierent number of processes
Hello, i was wondering if there is a way of simulating for example 10000 steps with 8 processes and the next 4500 with 12 processes, i mean changing the number and being able to continue from where i left it.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Question about how the program uses IC
Hello!
Thank you for the reply, that shed some light on the issue. The main issue is what happens when you change the IC file contained in the first tab of a simulation in the middle of a simulation.

Question about how the program uses IC
Hello, i've been having some issues lately on my pc crashing or the power going out and i'm losing simulation progress due to not saving the proyect. I found that i could convert files nevertheless, and tryed using this as a new Initial condition file. Does this work how i imagine? i mean does it co...

Hello, i was wondering if it was possible to use GPU power and CPU power to speed up simulations, i can't seem to find any option to enable GPU.
Thanks.

Creating data files for Deformable wall
Hello! I've been having issues trying to create data files for a tube with a U turn having deformable walls with this parameters: Cap1: Resistance 16000 Cap2: Velocity with steady flow, -50 cm3/s constant Type: Deformable(Constant) Thickness: 0.2 Elastic Modulus: 4000000 Poisson Ratio: 0.5 Shear Con...
