Re: Muscle force result correctness
thank you for your reply. I am using the Gait2392 lower limb musculoskeletal model to simulate human walking. I calculated the maximal muscle strength of the gastrocnemius to be 545N. Is this normal? I feel a bit big.

Muscle force result correctness
Hello everyone, I am currently doing experiments related to human squatting. I have successfully run RRA and CMC, and I have obtained muscle and muscle metabolism results, but the results calculated by my muscle power are beyond my imagination. How do I know the correctness of the muscle strength re...

Umberger2010MuscleMetabolicsProbe
Hello everyone, I want to use the probe to calculate the metabolism of each muscle. I chose Umberger2010MuscleMetabolicsProbe, but how can I set it to output the metabolic value of the muscle I am interested in?

How to control joint self-locking
Hello everyone, I designed a knee ratchet self-locking mechanism as shown. I want the knee joint to lock itself and bear the weight of the human torso when the human body squats to a certain angle. my question is: 1. Can a rigid body in opensim pass through another rigid body? Can my self-locking me...

CMC wrong body distortion
Hello everyone, I used my own model to rebuild ik, id and rra, but when I did cmc, a warning occurred and my model was twisted together. I have posted the error message, which makes me very upset. I hope everyone can help me. thank you very much. CMC::computeControls WARNING- small force range for a...

bushingforce
I would like to ask a simple question. I defined a bushingforce between the exoskeleton and the model, and then successfully performed ik, id, cmc on the model. But where can I plot the bushingforce I defined? I can only find muscle strength, thank you for your reply.

Re: Move an exoskeleton
Hello, I am sorry I can't answer your question. Because I am also a newbie. I designed a lower extremity exoskeleton, I want to use the opensim simulation to get muscle strength information. I have now combined the exoskeleton model with the opensim model, but when I used bushingforce to tie the exo...
