OpenSense IMU Calibration Pose

I would like to try processing IMU data using OpenSense. My subject had 8 sensors (2 feet, 2 shank, 2 thigh, sacrum, sternum) to look at lower body kinematics. I noticed on the OpenSense page, it says you must have a known calibration pose. I took a calibration pose in a separate recording as my tri...

IK Tool Fail

I am trying to run IK on experimental mocap dataset. I have run the Scale Tool to place the markers from the static trial onto the Gait2392 model. However, when I run the IK tool with the experimental .trc file, I get the following error: InverseKinematicsTool Failed: Error reading rows in file 'C:\...

Re: force mot file

Hi Mohammadreza, Thanks for sending along that second toolbox. It appears that the download page doesn't include a vital function, and that many people have not been able to use it for that reason. If I have the data in csv format already, I think I can convert the data manually. But in your first m...

Re: force mot file

Hi Mohammadreza,

Thank you for the response, I will look into this toolbox! I received the data as csv from the group that originally collected the data, do you know if this toolbox only works for c3d files, or will csv work too?

Best,
Allison

Re: force mot file

Hello, I have a question relating to this issue. I also posted in the forum a few hours ago (see post "Multiple GRF Plate Processing for OpenSim Import"). If I have the force vector coordinates, COM coordinates, and moment components for 4 individual force plates, but I know that plates 1+4 and 2+3 ...

Multiple GRF Plate Processing for OpenSim Import

I'm trying to get GRF the data in the correct format and file type for import into OpenSim. The GRF data is in a csv file. The data is split into 4 force places, with force coordinates, COP coordinates, and torque components for each plate, as well as force coordinates, COP coordinates, and torque c...

Model 2392 + Umberger 2010 Metabolic Probe

I am trying to perform a metabolic analysis on the 2392 model both in unassisted walking and with a modeled knee exoskeleton (similarly to this example: simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:8443/display/OpenSim/Simulation-Based+Design+to+Reduce+Metabolic+Cost) At the end of the opensim example, the instruc...

Model 2392 Inverse Dynamics if Sample Data

I am running through the Inverse Dynamics tool with the model 2392 to analyze the joint torques at the knee. I first went thought the OpenSim Tutorial 3, but would like to recreate this process with the higher fidelity 2392 model (rather than the 2354, which is the model used for the tutorial). When...
