Re: Pressure inlet condition
Thanks a lot for this comprehensive explanation! I'll start with the example you provided and work from there, see if it gets me where I want to go.

Pressure inlet condition
Hello all,
Is it possible in SimVascular to use a pressure waveform instead of a flow rate waveform as an inlet condition? I couldn't find anything on this in the documentation or on the forum.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Sita

Re: Mass conservation
In the meantime I've been experimenting with this Residual Criteria parameter, which does seem to help improving mass conservation. I was wondering, how is the residual norm defined here? And apart from reducing the value of Residual Criteria, would it also help to increase those Maximum Number of I...

Mass conservation
Hello all, After running the Coronary Normal demo project, I noticed that the flow rates in all_results-flows.txt and all_results-averages.txt don't add up to zero. There's a net flow rate of a few ml/s, which is only about 1% of the flow rate in the aorta, but it's considerable compared to the flow...

Re: Error running job
Hi all, It seems I'm having a similar problem: sometimes when starting a job with mpiexec I get this error: /usr/local/sv/svsolver/2019-01-19/svsolver: line 58: 60089 Segmentation fault: 11 $SV_HOME/bin/svsolver $* So it's only the "segmentation fault" bit, not the missing files. Without mpi, on a s...

Re: Mapping of results onto different mesh
Sorry, just a follow-up question: if I use this Resample with Dataset filter in ParaView to map pressure/velocity results from one mesh onto another, is there any way to convert the results back into a restart-file for SimVascular? I'd like to use something like this to be able to use the end-result...
