Re: [Dog model] Inconsistent values for joint reaction analysis

It's been fixed and it works, thank you very much Heiko!

Re: Inconsistent values for joint reaction analysis

Thanks Heiko, it works! It seems that the main issue was the unticked "Solve for equilibrium for actuator states" as it now works even with a precision of 12. I had never ticked this before thinking that I didn't need for pure inverse dynamics problem, but it seems that it is still rather important....

Inconsistent values for joint reaction analysis

Hi team,
I am sharing my post from the general OpenSim forum here as well --> viewtopicPhpbb.php?f=91&t=17652&p=0&start=0&view=

Any idea on why the JRA tool seems inconsistent with the dog model?
Thanks !

[Dog model] Inconsistent values for joint reaction analysis

Hi everyone, I've had an issue for quite some time now and struggle to explain why the joint reaction analysis tool gives me stupidly high values (>15 000N) with the dog model from Stark et al., 2021 (https://simtk.org/projects/dogmodel) through all joints of the left forelimb. When muscles are incl...

Re: Coordinates of muscle points with wrapping surfaces

Hi Simao, Sorry for reopening this discussion. I am trying to access muscle path points on the surface of a wrapping object as well. Unfortunately, "PathWrapPoint" and "PathWrapSet" don't seem to be available through the Matlab API up to OpenSim 4.4. Did you succeed in replicating the OpenSim wrappi...

Re: Static Optimization Fails

Hi Ibrahim, I know your post is quite old now, but I will try to help you and others. I believe the issue comes from the AC constraint in the model. Static optimisation struggles to satisfy both joint torques and the AC constraint at the same time. If you have marker data, you should try running IK ...
