Re: Workflows & Standards & good practices
From our discussions, I have identified a few issue that we may need to clarify. As we started our discussions, our motivations appeared to be to provide our workflows as we utilize our specific modeling & simulation strategy. As our discussions evolved, we seemed to separate the workflow into a bro...

Re: Version 2 boundary conditions
That is how we do the in vitro loading in our specimens. Nonetheless you should be able to change load curves and magnitudes to any that you would like.

Re: Version 2 boundary conditions
Hi Todd, I changed the prescription of boundary conditions and loads in the new version slightly, mostly for convenience. With the newer version, we are applying a passive flexion from 0 to 0.785 radians in 1 second and holding the joint at that angle for the remainder of the simulation, which ends ...

Re: FEBio v.2.1 compatibility
Hi Todd, I am relaying the information I got from Steve Maas. Apparently you don't need a plugin for the Open Knee(s) - Generation 1 model. You may want to remove the import line from febio configuration file (febio.xml) if there is any. Also, the error about NeoHookean plugin is a warning. The simu...

Re: FEBio v.1.8 / v.2.0 compatibility
Hi Todd, Thank you for your message. (1) Have you tested things with v.1.8? No, we did not have a chance to test the model with version 1.8. Your feedback is much appreciated. It seems like the problem (based on the error message you provided) is related to FEBio not being able to calculate a conver...
