Sherm,
Did you, or are you aware of anybody else that uses the static libraries?

Kathleen,
I've seen similar messages when the storage files are already open in another program (e.g. Excel). Can you check that? (also that there's no other instance of OpenSim up?)

Hi Tim,
The folder that builds the cfsqp dll is a part of the OpenSim repository (under Trunk/Vendors/CFSQP). We could not make it public for licensing reasons. I can package it separately if there's enough interest..
Best,
Ayman

<t>Dear Nicolas,

There's a pre-release version of 1.7 that we've been testing internally for a while (and used in a workshop on campus) but we haven't published yet pending a couple bug-fixes.

I'll send email to the forum when it becomes public (hopefully very shortly).
...

<t>Hi,

This is definitely possible (run forward simulation with your own excitations). For forward simulation you only need initial-states and excitations for the muscles if your model have some (regardless of where they come from).

If your motion requires external forces (e....

Kathleen,
We do not do any smoothing.
What are you plotting against? if it's against row numbers in the file or indices in excel then it will be jagged because the sampling is not necessary uniform.

Lisa,
If you're doing dynamics you better have good mass/inertial properties assigned.
Good luck,

<t>Patrick,

Please file a bug (using the Application's Help/Report-a-bug feature) and include the log file (likely hs_*.log) when you report it. This will help us figure out if that's an optimizer exception that was not handled properly or if it's something else.

Thanks,
...

Dear Reinhard,
Please file a bug using the "Help/Report-a-bug" in OpenSim application. Please indicate what changes to the wrapping were you doing.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
