RE: Output Hunt-Crossley contact forces
<t>Hi Margarida,<br/> I was trying to implement "elastic foundation model" to model the foot-ground contact. But I do not know how should I do that. Should I make some changes to my .osim file? If yes, what are those changes?<br/> It would be great if you could help me to do that.<br/> Regards,<br/>...

RE: how to add PointKinematics analysis to FD
<t>Hi Aymen,<br/> The problem does not arise from the model (the Osim file).<br/> I can run the regular FD tool to integrate state equations for this OSIM file. But when I add the "POINTKINEMATICS" it ends up to an error.<br/> Is there anyway I can attach my xml and osim files here?<br/> I have no i...

how to add PointKinematics analysis to FD
<t>Hi every one.<br/> I want to add an analysis (PointKinematics) to the forward dynamics. In other words, I want to run this analysis during forward dynamic.<br/> I made some changes to the <ForwardTool> xml file.<br/> I changed this:<br/> .<br/> .<br/> <AnalysisSet name="Analyses"><br/> <objects/>...

RE: Fail in view window
Hi Mateus
I had the same problem couple of weeks ago,tI simply restarted windows to solve it. Had you tried that?
Actually I did not check vtklog, so I am not sure if it was exactly the same problem.
Cheers,
Sina

RE: prescribed dof in forward dynamics
Hi Ayman,
I want to use a non-linear function for "<CoordinateLimitForce>" and also "<BushingForce>".
It would be great if you could help me.

Sina

RE: prescribed dof in forward dynamics
Hi Ayman
Can I use a spline to define a custom nonlinear passive torque actuator? e.g. the amount of torque which is applied to the joint is a non-linear function of joints angle.
Ragards,
Sina

RE: API question: optimal control
Hi Shiuan-Lin
I cannot open the youtube files, it says that they are private.
Did you use the Forward Dynamic tool with an optimization method to optimize your cost function?

Sina

RE: Does BushingForce have bug?
<t>Hi Gregory,<br/> 1- no, directionY is the name of the bushing force which appears in the GUI. this linespecifies the stiffness of spring in each direction: <translational_stiffness> 0 100 0 </translational_stiffness><br/> <br/> 2- No, I used a random location. I just wanted to check how "BushingF...
