Re: Comment on Committee overview
Hi Tony, thank you for your comments. I tried to respond to them below: I agree that for the sake of condensing the information in to a few words, we may have ended up being vague. As a group we should definitely clarify what "the pressing need" is and how modeling and simulation can offer a solutio...

Dear Committee Members, Advisory Council, and other interested parties, We have recently completed a summary document providing our initial vision on what the Committee on CPMS in Healthcare is about and how it will operate. The document can be found here . If you like, please provide your feedback ...

Re: Different MRI-Data and Mesh Generation
Hi Andreas, Truegrid is a powerful mesh generation software, yet it is proprietary. The learning curve is rather steep but the software allows you to conduct parametric meshing and to generate high quality hexahedral meshes. As long as the topology of the geometries are similar, the meshing may work...

RE: can't get febio to simulate
<t>The mesh file is in Abaqus native format that can be imported into Abaqus CAE. However, the user needs to define all other model components (material properties, contact definitions, etc.). While we have access to Abaqus, we did not have a chance to port the model to that solver platform yet. We ...

RE: can't get febio to simulate
Hi Dilen,
You need to provide the name of the Open Knee input file in FEBio format, which should be tf_joint.feb. If this doesn't work, you may need to provide the whole path of the file.

RE: can't get febio to simulate
<r>Hi Dilen,<br/> <br/> First, I advise you to get FEBio 1.3.0. Open Knee simulations were conducted using that version. There is no guarantee that it will solve with an older version. <br/> <br/> About using FEBio on 64 bit Windows 7 PC, I am afraid we didn't test the Open Knee model and FEBio on t...

RE: Preview Import Problem
<t><br/> It appears that PreView 1.3.1 may not recognize all the keywords in the tf_joint.feb file. While we can ask PreView developers to implement these keywords for FeBio file import in the software, a cumbersome workaround maybe:<br/> <br/> - Make a note of all errors.<br/> - Build and/or change...

Preview Import Problem
<t><br/> For Open Knee v1.0.1, it was reported that Preview may have some problems importing the tf_joint.feb file.<br/> ---<br/> Here are the errors that I get when I import the tf_joint.feb file into PreView 1.3.1.1332. If I accept the errors, it skips each section and<br/> gives each of the follo...
