I'm not sure if residuals can increase during iterations. But, you can check if the residuals are acting at the scaled pelvis in the RRA actuators.xml file (Applies if you have scaled your model). You can also try using the suggested mass changes shown in messages section after your initial RRA run....

Inbuilt filter used in Inverse Dynamics
Hello all,
What is the inbuilt filter used in Inverse Dynamics?
We usually set the filter frequency to negative value if the data doesn't need filtering and around 6Hz if it does.
