Re: moment arm direction
Thank you for your response, I had noticed that in OpenSim Moment-arms are not calculated with geometrical orthogonals. However, I do not try to calculate the norm of the moment arm but the direction of the latter, in order to evaluate the function of the muscle with respect to a given joint (agonis...

moment arm direction
Hi everybody, I am looking for a solution to calculate the direction (matrix X,Y,Z) of a moment arm with respect to a joint of interest. I will use these data to quantify the synergistic action of the shoulder muscles. If I am not wrong, there is currently no analyzis tool or plugin to calculate mom...

Re: CMC with Holzbaur model (uuper limb model)
Thnak you for your post,
unfortunately the model you proposed is to simplify, because we interest in scapula and clavicle movements. But I am going to try to mix the updated upper limb model and holzbaur model, and see if CMC works better.
thanks again
yoann

CMC with Holzbaur model (uuper limb model)
Good evening, I am currently using the Holzbaur model (2005), to simulate manual handling tasks. We reccorded forces acting between the box and the hands. I have no problem to run scaling, IK, ID and static optimization. But I have some troubles to compute CMC, (I do not compute RRA because we did n...
