Re: opesim 2.2.1 version

Abeer,
below is a page that links to a number of packages that may be useful. I think most of these deal with c3d file formats but you will just have to check.

Re: Unilateral inverse dynamics

Pouya, You can do a forward dynamics with one leg in OpenSim. The validity of your answers, and your ability to justify this form of analysis given the potential errors, comes down to your research question. Depending on the variables you are trying to study, the bar for justification will change. C...

Re: IK - report_marker_locations

Carlo-
It would be located in the IK setup file. As it is not written in by default you would have to add it to your file.

Re: inverse kinematic problem

Abeer-
it wont run if any marker is checked for tracking but isnt in the the trc file. Go through the markers and see if any are highlighted red. Uncheck all of those and you will be able to run.

Re: Unilateral inverse dynamics

Pouya, You can get the joint moments just fine with one leg, as I said previously. The issue is that for forward dynamics you need a dynamically consistent model. The RRA in OpenSim uses adjustments in kinematics to bring the pelvic residuals to zero. For details on i would suggest these resources; ...

Re: inverse kinematic problem

Abeer-
Perhaps check the marker tracking weightings to make sure they are not all set to 0.

Abeer- If you click on the 'list previous versions' link on the download page, all previous versions of opensim are viewable. If you are having issues with OpenSim 3.1 I would suggest logging your issues in the bug tracker located here: https://simtk.org/tracker/?atid=322&group_id=91&func=browse che...

Re: Help with Stability/Perturbation Analysis

Hi Margaret, To do this type of analysis you dont need mocap or kinetics data. If you had collected experimental perturbations (applied a known force to a subject during standing) then you would be able to to estimate subject specific muscle recruitment and recovery strategies. As the original data ...
